Mike Ernest is a former NASCAR driver from Wadsworth, OH. He competed in two Nextel Cup Series events in his career. Ernest's first race came in 1951, when he competed at Canfield. Starting positions in the field of thirty-eight are unknown, but Ernest and his Olds struggled in the race in route to a 31st place finish. Ernest luckily fared better in his other race, competing at Dayton in 1952. Starting 21st in the field, Ernest would fall some thirty-two laps down in the race but he still drove to a respectable 15th place finish.
