Robert W. Lenski (June 11, 1926 - June 19, 2002) was a prolific television screenwriter born in Michigan. Lenski began his career as a journalist and received a Pulitzer Prize for his skillful reporting of a Southern Michigan prison riot early on. Later moving into television, three-time Emmy nominee Lenski scripted such popular television shows as Mannix, Cannon, The Streets of San Francisco, The New Perry Mason, Barnaby Jones and Kojak from the early 1970s.
