In November of the year 2374, the Vostigye Union sent Ambassador at Large Neelix to negotiate with the Voth, which offended the saurians. The Voth Ministry of Elders dispatched the sanctioner to show flag in the Vostigye system. When Haluk demanded the crew of USS Voyager turned over, the Vostigye and their allies assembled a fleet to defend the Voyager crew. The fleet was no match for the advanced starship. Haluk's city ship vaporized Nezu starships with the first shots and hit Ridion starships with their own plasma torpedoes, causing them to blow up.
