The crown changes its appearance with the seasons: spring (20 March to 20 June), summer (21 June to 21 September), autumn (22 September to 20 December), and winter (21 December to 19 March), in which each day is from 00:00 to 23:59 UTC. In the equipment interface, there is an option to invert the crown, giving it the look of the season in the opposite hemisphere. When equipping this item, a different sound effect is played depending on the season the crown is attuned to. When stored as a cosmetic override via Keepsake key, the crown will continue to cycle through its seasonal appearances.
