The Blue Cat is an inn located in Tar Valon, not far from the Great Fish Market in the southwest part of the city. The inn is actually built in the shape of a large, sleeping cat, and is of Ogier design and construction. It was passed by Moiraine Damodred and Siuan Sanche on their way out of the city to disburse the Amyrlin Seat's bounty to all newborn infants on the day after the Dragon's rebirth in late 978 NE.
