Eve arrives back from France and is confused by Jimmy's disapproval. She quickly arranges a night with Carl, and when she hears about Chas being away it's clear that she's happy to be number one for a while. The lies and secrecy are taking their toll on Jimmy, as he deals with Nicola's belief that he has a fancy woman. Later, Jimmy enters Mill Cottage and is stunned at Eve's state of undress. He furiously warns Carl to end it with Eve or he will tell Chas. Meanwhile, Diane lets slip to Moira that she should have a word with Hannah. At home, Moira tentatively questions Hannah, who's relieved that her mum isn't angry or disappointed. Moira tells John about their latest failings as parents and insists they need to be supportive rather than angry. Elsewhere, Victoria becomes suspicious of Amy
