This is one of the weird maps of multiplayer. THE PIT is essentialy a training ground for the Noob Corps, apparent by all the shooting targets in the place. Its pretty much a maze. If you shoot the targets of Brutes they light up and say OWW! Bungie wanted to make the map a building and a highway but that would make it a breeding ground for noobs. A giant fence was put up to keep players inside the base and off the streets. There are some Warthogs outside but you can't get to them. Only snakes. It was real freaking retarded to put the fence up because the Pit is still a noob breeding ground. Campers always hood it up at the Spooky Spoon spawn point and nubs always spend the whole damn match shootin the wall targets only to be sniped by me, you, and God.
