Dorothy appears to be a female Mongoose Lemur (Eulemur mongoz). Typically, female mongoose lemurs have a predominantly grey body. However, there are some unusual individuals with a light brown upper body and shoulders, much like Dorothy. * If this is the case, it would make her among the only properly-gendered lemurs within the Madagascar series.
