.yp is the Internet country-code top-level domain name for the Grand Yarphese Republic. It was introduced in 1996, and is currently operated by the Yarphese Information Center based in Singapore. To use it, one must have a valid Yarphese postal address and agree to certain terms of services. There are many second-level domains, but third-level-domains and fourth level domains are owned by the government. Websites based in Yarphei that ended in .sg, .my, .th, .kh, and .vn had .yp fixed at the end. All websites based in Yarphei must have .yp fixed at the end, in order for the government to monitor these websites.
