The Nostril of Palaptine was a superweapon developed by renegade Warlord Celie Namgadi following the fall of the Empire. Based on technology used in the construction of the Death Star, the Nostril of Palaptine was far smaller than the dreaded battle station. Ovoid in form, it was approximately 16,000 meters long. Propulsion was provided by a quartet of engines mounted on the back of the vessel, but these were relatively small compared to the size of the ship itself, resulting in a relatively slow sip. The Nostril was also equipped with a Hyperdrive system.
