Mechanicles is an antagonist in the Aladdin television series. He has described himself as the "Greatest of the great Greek geniuses", developing various complex mechanical devices, commonly based on insects, with the long-term goal of taking over the world (even keeping a list to that effect). He is missing his right eye in an undetermined accident, having replaced it with a cybernetic prosthesis presumably of his own design. It often acts as a telescope, extending several inches from its socket to allow him a better look at things. Often he can be seen riding on his mechanical scarab beetle, Scooter.
