Gus Wilson is a former NASCAR driver from Baltimore, MD. He competed in six Nextel Cup Series events in his career. Wilson's debut came in 1957, when he competed at New Oxford. Starting 25th in the race, Wilson just kept out of trouble most of the race and was rewarded with an 18th place finish. He was no better in the autumn event at the track, blowing an engine to finish 24th. Wilson's final career race came in 1959, when he competed at Reading. Starting positions in the field of twenty-five are unknown, but Wilson retired at the halfway point to finish a still-respectable 18th place.
