The Kilysa Brood is a zerg brood under the command of broodmother Kilysa. The brood is small but has many leviathans. Initially splitting off from the Zerg Swarm after Sarah Kerrigan's de-infestation, Kilysa later requested to rejoin the Swarm upon learning of Kerrigan's rebirth as the Queen of Blades. Kerrigan ordered her to destroy Mistaff IV, a hub of Dominion military production to gain a place in the Swarm. Kilysa obeyed, and her brood attacked the planet. Her brood also attacked Brokas Hur and Cruxas III. On Cavir, Kalysa's brood was assigned to reclaim a surviving lurker den after it was assaulted by feral zerg.
