M43 Alpha IX was a planet, the ninth planet in orbit of the M43 Alpha star system. Located in the space of the galaxy's Beta Quadrant, in Federation space at coordinates 2.02S 6.95E, M43 Alpha IX was a nondescript gas giant planet, not noted to have lifeforms of any sort present. M43 Alpha IX was orbited by a 9 moons (unnamed moons) and had a ring system.
