Daphne Anne Snape (née Greengrass) (b. 9 September 1979) was a pure-blood witch of the Greengrass family, a respected 'grey' family. She was the eldest child of Florian and Adorabella Greengrass, twin sister of the late Cyrus Greengrass and elder sister of Astoria Greengrass. She attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1991 to 1998, and was Sorted into Slytherin along with her best friend Tracey Davis.
