Her father was dead before she was born and her mother died giving birth to her, because of that she was basically born orphan and spent her early life in a orphanage. At the age of 12 she was force fed her Mushi Mushi no Mi, Model: Tiger Beetle by the bullies, unknowingly she activated it's powers and became a full fledged Tiger Beetle-Human Hybrid. Claiming she was some sort of demon cause of what she just did the bullies got her expelled out of the orphanage.
