Originally, Valenko was a mage of forerunners the Progenitors who had made an agreement with one of the ancient fiends. In exchange for a cure against the sunlight, the elder fiend would tell him about Kindred society. For a long time, he served the Sabbat, in secret hoping to abandon them at one point and return to the Technocracy. His current fate is unknown, but it seems possible that he was part of the conspiracy of the True Black Hand and destroyed.
