Tsuruchi Dorai was a Tsuruchi Bounty Hunter at the command of Tsuruchi Nobumoto, the Tsuruchi Daimyo. In 1165 he and his cousin Tsuruchi Shiriko were deep inside a forest, which touched on the southern border of the Agasha provinces, hunting Yoritomo Kitao and any of her pirates corrupted by the Rain of Blood. They were ambushed by cultists and saved their lives by the timely arrival of a Snow Maiden spirit, Moshi Hinome, who was also tainted but fought her corruption and the bloodspeakers who fell to it.
