Sir Basil Hardington Bartlett, 2nd Baronet, (15 September 1905 - 2 January 1985) was an actor, screenwriter and writer who portrayed Captain Elliot in Captain Horatio Hornblower R.N. Bartlett played in ten other movies and wrote four books.
