TY44 was the name of one of a "string" of satellite-moons orbiting the planet Typha-Dor, located in the Uziel system. Named for its coordinates, TY44 had a very icy terrain and its surface was covered with glaciers. By 25 BBY, a surveillance outpost of Typha-Dor was located on this moon. Several of its resistance fighter-crew members were eliminated by the would-be invaders of their home planet, expansionist forces from Vanqor who sent in a saboteur to infiltrate the crew's operations and assassinate its members.
