Yiga Blademasters are enemies from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. They are Sheikah soldiers of the Yiga Clan. Link confronts them at the Yiga Clan Hideout in the Gerudo Highlands region. They are tough enemies due to a unique ability: if he is too close, getting hit by a Blademaster's attack will instantly kill Link, bypassing all Heart Containers, fairies and Mipha's Grace. Blademasters encountered in the field lack this special ability, though they use a technique that summons a stone pillar or a blast of air from the ground beneath Link after a few seconds.
