Charlus Arthur Potter (8 June 1822) was a pure-blood British wizard and politician who served the Wizengamot as Chief Warlock between 1889 to 1897. He attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1833 to 1840 as part of house Gryffindor, where he was in the same year as his future wife, Jennifer Thomas. He and Jennifer married in 1843 and had a son, William, four years later. Charlus would be an employee of the Ministry of Magic for a total of 59 years, starting as an intern in the Department of Magical Transportation, eventually becoming a Court Scribe for the Wizengamot and becoming Chief Warlock in 1889.
