The Infamy takes place on land and sea between players, on Sea (SVS) you have players taking sides of the French and Spanish, their goal is to gather enough points to level themselves up as much as they can to the rank of Admiral. On Land you are stationed with your weapons as you fight in hand to hand combat with an enemy, your goal is also to gather reputation by killing enough enemy's for yourself to level up as much as you can, the highest rank is Warlord.
