Laina Zavul is one of the main characters of Pokémon Restored, the other being Alby Etchus. He is considered to be the anime counterpart to Paige, the female protagonist of Pokémon Smoke and Fog Versions. Before starting hes Pokémon journey, she lived in Discup Town, a tiny locality with a small population. Discup Town was also the homeplace of Alby and Leon Biktup, two other aspiring Pokémon trainers, and Professor Teak, who lived and researched in the local PokéLab.
