Chapel of the Elders is a room in Phendrana Drifts in Metroid Prime. It is the location of one of the area's bosses, the Sheegoth, and the room in which Samus collects the Wave Beam. It is a large, roughly square room with a small enclosure closed off by walls in each of the four corners. When the Beam, which is visible on entry, is approached, it retracts into the floor and two of these walls lower, revealing a Baby Sheegoth behind each; the others lower once these have been defeated, revealing more young Sheegoths. Each corner also contains a number of containers to replenish energy and Missiles.
