The Storm Pirates (ストームパイレーツ Ran no Kaizokudan) are a pirate crew that was formerly lead by "Swift Demon" Dracule Sakura, the sister of Dracule Randy, Dracule Miraak and Dracule Adel, as well as being the niece of famed swordsman, Dracule Mihawk. Although the crew's origins are undefined, it was made evident that Sakura formed the crew for the sole purpose of becoming a pirate, believing that it would allow her to travel endlessly around the world as she sought out the strength necessary to accomplish her goal in life. After coming across The Jolly Pirates however, and after a misadventure in a Marine stronghold in East Blue, Sakura hesitantly agreed to join The Jolly Pirates as their swordsman, thus resigning as captain of The Storm Pirates.
