The shield is pentagonal in shape and forged from black metal; bearing a symbol of what looks like an upright 'T' attached to a side ways 'S.' It was owned by the Dark Knight prior to his vanquish, and was destroyed along with him. The Book of Shadows described the shield as his greatest defense.
