An animated version of Beaker appeared in the 1985 show Little Muppet Monsters. Unlike the other animated versions of the main Muppet characters, he was voiced by his original Muppet performer, Richard Hunt. In contrast to the original puppet, the animated version of Beaker was allowed more in the way of facial expression, and was able to smile, pucker, etc.
