Bardeck Gorales was an Orion pirate of the 24th century and member of the Orion Syndicate. Most of his youth was spent running with gangs of renegade Andorian gangs, and he occasionally worked as a mercenary in the conflicts between the Klingons and the Romulans during the 2340s. Later, he engaged in privateering during the Federation-Cardassian War (presumably on the Cardassian side), and took up outright piracy following the ceasefire, when he preyed on both Federation and Klingon ships.
