He was a special officer of the Metropolitan Police Board branch in Tokyo, and his boss was a closet-Sailor V fan, Natsuna Sakurada. He hated Sailor V because she made the police look bad and took all of the credit for capturing the bad guys. Briefly, he was moved to the Siberian branch of the police force due to his failures. He somewhat mellowed out on his return. He has an older brother who also hates Sailor V, but for different reasons.
