Benvolion "The Invincible" Shadowfen was one of the most feared soldiers of Black Rook Hold. He was a giant among his peers and sported a dark green beard and hair that fell around his shoulders. He was known for his fearlessness in battle. He was reunited with his sister Kayandre very early on in her career as a Warden and the pair became strong friends, it was through him she met her Mate, Tatharian Stormdancer. He never saw his brother Romeron after he left to pursue his career.
