Lancaster Home Guard (LHG) is a volunteered-based military group that works to keep County Palatine of Lancaster safe. The LHG was founded in December 1455. The commanding Officer (Duchess/Duke), is head of the army, with the sitting County Council exercising overall authority with majority vote. The current Captain of the Guard is Vana_runedottir.
