David Gryphonheart IV was the king of Erathia during the Timber Wars. King David eagerly wanted to expand the borders of Erathia, and when some of his explorers entered the forests to the north, beyond the nation of Phynaxia, they found a type of wood that was well suited for making bows and other weapons. They started building sawmills and settlements, and when the elves warned them that they had crossed the border into AvLee, and were damaging their forest, the humans ignored them.
