Mohamed Brahmi (15 May 1955 - 25 July 2013) was a Tunisian politician. Brahmi was the founder and leader of the Movement of the People Party, which under his leadership won two seats in the Tunisian Constituent elections in 2011. Brahmi Ariana was shot on July 25, 2013 in Tunis in front of his wife and children by two men on a scooter. He was shot 11 times and died later that day in a hospital in Aryanah.
