Sylvia started her career in 1992. She studied lyrical singing in UFRJ, also worked on theatre and later started interning at the studio Herbert Richers. She is known as the official Brazilian voice actress of the actresses Kate Winslet, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Alba, Megan Fox, Kirsten Dunst and Amy Adams.
