Dr. Ledbetter is Ross' boss at the museum. It is revealed that he ate Ross' leftover Thanksgiving sandwich, for which Ross gets really mad at him. He then lets Ross take a sabatical. However, when he visits Ross to ask him to come back working at the museum, Ross just discovers that Monica and Chandler are in a relationship and he gets mad again, for which Ross gets fired.
