The Apparition Test Centre is an office on the sixth level of the British Ministry of Magic in the Department of Magical Transportation. This office tests Apparition students and issues Apparition licences to those who successfully pass the final test, giving them the right to Apparate and Disapparate legally. The minimum age to acquire such a licence is seventeen, the age a witch or wizard comes of age. This office also deploys an instructor to Hogwarts to tutor the eligible students in the method of Apparation and Disapparation. Wilkie Twycross is the only known Apparition instructor.
