Savion is a hip young guy seen on Sesame Street from Season 21 to Season 26. He and Gina were close in age, and the two were friends. Savion frequently danced on the show. He also helped teach Elmo how to tap dance. In a 1993 episode, Savion and Gina got a nasty phone call at Hooper's Store from someone who saw them hanging out together. They explained to Telly Monster that some people have problems with people of different races being friends.
