Upper Bal'ta'ran Cluster was a cluster of islands in Guiteica, in the northwest coast of l'Quart'a continent. The u'Tal'ac Range was located there. There were several mines located in the cluster of islands that produced Bal'ta'ran crystals. These mines were operated primarily by Bitthævrian slaves; Aul Tarrus Vishav was born and raised as one such slave on the islands until he managed to escape his life of servitude.
