The range bunny was a small, ground dwelling animal native to the planet Sphinx in the Manticore System. Approximately two thirds the size of a treecat, these creatures ran with a distinctive "two-stage" leaping motion, hence the name, despite the fact that they did not really resemble an Earth rabbit.
