Mrs. Dowd is a minor character who appeared in the online version and had an unnamed appearance in Rodrick Rules book. Greg and Rowley appear trespassing her lawn and she reports them to the police. Greg found Rowley was copying him a lot and was doing what he would do, so Greg pulled one of his trouser's leg slightly up and put a bandana there, Rowley followed that too. When they were passing her lawn, she called their school, saying, "There are some thugs outside my house sporting 'gang colors' ", and Greg got sent to the principal's office.
