Private Eye was about a Sino-Lovian private detective, and his adventures fighting crime. The original actor who portrayed Chan was Victor Sallami, a Lovian of Moroccan descent. Sallami was fired in 1972. Thereafter, the show lost many viewers and was cancelled midway through the 1973 season.
