Daniel Emilfork Berenstein (April 7 1924 San Felipe, Chile – October 17 2006 Paris, France) was a French stage and film actor of Jewish descent. Emilfork was born in San Felipe, Chile after his Jewish socialist parents from Kiev [1] fled a pogrom in Odessa. At age 25, he left Chile and settled in France, because, according to his friend Alejandro Jodorowsky, he didn't feel comfortable being a homosexual man in Chile ([2])([3]). Emilfork's voice and accent when speaking French were extremely striking and unique.
