Before using this technique, the user must create a series of Shadow Clones and have them transform into a shuriken. The user then uses the Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique and dispels the transformation, turning one thousand shuriken into thousands of normal Shadow Clones. The clones then summon at least one shuriken each and use the Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique at the same time, making it impossible for the opponent to escape and killing the opponent in a single move. This technique requires an amazing level of chakra because it requires the use of two clone techniques at once.
