The Defense Staff (守備の杖 Shubi no tsue) is a Staff that appears in Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem and TearRing Saga: Utna Heroes Saga. In Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem, this staff allows its user to bestow a bonus of 2 points to the Defense of a selected ally unit for one turn. This staff may be obtained as an uncommon item in Everyone's Conditions. In TearRing Saga: Utna Heroes Saga, this staff is for Plum only and when cast, it halves the damage an ally receives for one chapter.
