The Social Democratic Party of New Cambria (often abbreviated Social Democrats) is a New Cambrian political party committed to the political ideology of social democracy. The party won the 2009 general election with 43.9% of the first-preference votes. It currently holds 49 of the 100 seats in the Assembly of Deputies of New Cambria, more than any other party, and forms a majority government with the Progressive Party and the Parti égalité, and three non-party ADs. It also has the largest membership of any New Cambrian political party, with approximately 133,000 members as of 2010. The party is led by Jeremy Kinney, the Prime Minister of New Cambria.
