This location was previously used for Survivor: Pearl Islands and Survivor: All-Stars. The season premiered on February 1, 2006. The season finale was on August 21, 2006 with the votes revealed live. In a 5-2 vote, Tina Scheer defeated Ruth-Marie Milliman to take the $1 million prize.
