Qui-Gon Jinn was a wise, faithful, powerful but unorthodox and rebellious Jedi Master who was the Padawan of Dooku and Master of Obi-wan Kenobi. Regarded as a formidable warrior and a wise man Qui-Gon would certainly have gotten a place on the Jedi Council if not for his rebellious nature. Qui-Gon perished during the blockade of Naboo crisis at the hands of the deadly Sith lord Darth Maul.
