In the year SY 376, what became known as the Great Earthquake struck the southern reaches of the Falena Queendom. Because of this earthquake, the land route that connected Falena and the theocracy of Nagarea was destroyed beyond repair. Additionally, Sauronix Castle previously had great political importance in Falena due to its place as the first line of defense against Nagarea; however, due to the Great Earthquake, the Nagarist threat was greatly reduced.
