The DJ Booth is a community-based website devoted to hip-hop music, R&B and urban culture. Based in New York City, The DJ Booth was founded in March of 2003 by Dave Macli. The DJ Booth began as a website specifically for DJs to find new music to play in their sets, as well as a forum to discuss and review DJ equipment. The site’s initial success prompted the expansion of The DJ Booth into a site where users could hear, rate and comment on new music.
